If you follow on Facebook or receive our newsletter, you know that SLP took the month of July off. Although it was hard to take a step back from the amazing SLP clients, it was for a good cause. The teams that my husband and I both coach qualified and attended their consecutive national tournaments…

Over on the Facebook page this week, I’ve been featuring portraits of dads and their little ones to celebrate Father’s Day. Being a dad is such a special role with such an immense responsibility that deserves to be documented. Do you have a favorite portrait or memory of your dad or father to your children? This…

Oftentimes it’s hard to think of the perfect gift for Dad for Father’s Day. Do you get him another tie? “World’s Best Dad” mug? A handmade art project? While all of these are great and heartfelt ideas, how about one that’s just perfect for him? Tippy Customs is a local artisan company that hand crafts knives,…

In an effort to stretch myself and my creativity so that I can grow my abilities and do better for His glory, I entered into the annual NAPCP Image Competition. NAPCP stands for the National Association of Professional Child Photographers, an organization of which I am honored to be a member. The judges for this competition…

Lisa contacted me because she was vacationing in the area and really hoped to have family portraits done – and I’m so glad that I could accommodate her in my schedule. Her family was absolutely sweet and I hope that they had a great time spending their Easter in Cajun Country!

At long last I am finally blogging this sweet little boy’s portraits. He was so cuddly during his session and was a joy to work with. His session was so special because he is such a prayed for and sought after miracle. I am so thankful that I got to be there. And isn’t his…

Hello thank you for your honest feedback I really enjoyed your post. Let me start off by saying I never heard of Christy until one day my husband told me that he bought me a gift. And I was like okay so what is it. He said it’s a book and it’s called business Boutique that intrigues me right away so the typical social media girl lol I hopped on the bandwagon and typed in business Boutique on Instagram I immediately fell in love. This was truly a gift from God this was him telling me hey you can do this here I am providing you with the tools and the knowledge that you need to succeed in the business that you are willing  to put hard work and dedication and something that you truly believe in. I’m so ready to receive this book in my hands you have no idea I have been keeping up with her podcast and yes you’re right if it’s sitting down with your girlfriends over a cup of warm coffee on a Saturday morning. Once again I wanted to say thank you for your honest review.

Have you signed up for the SLP newsletter? I know that everyone’s inboxes and social media feeds are just full of all sorts of stuff that tends to put us into a state of information overload. I promise that this newsletter won’t do that to you! In fact, it’s just a once a month letter…

I am finally catching up on processing some amazing church services that I was blessed to be able to capture. Why so late? Well, I decided that it would probably be best to “hide” the card the images were on so that no little helping hands would be able to get to it to make sure…
