FINALLY! Right? I’ve only been touting the new tour for – ugh – ever, right?
Why haven’t I blogged before? Well, because the proper paperwork hadn’t gone through yet. What does that mean? Well, I needed to get the proper zoning, go to town hall meetings, get the city council’s approval and recommendation and the mayor to sign off. Being the good girl I am, I didn’t want to post anything until it was all done.
But, now everything is done! Woo-hoo! Well, there are still some frames coming to display my occupational license, my insurance, my PPA certificate, and stuff like that, but they’re still being made and will come in due time.
Are you ready to see it?

Hi, there! This would be the outside entrance of the studio. See those dark privacy screens? That means that no one can see you in here – it’s private in here, which means no one can see and you can relax and enjoy yourself.

I even have a pretty mat.

A very warm “Welcome” to you – complete with touches from my little ones. Come one in!

This is what you see when you look in.

This is the first thing inside. It’s a little brag board. A few images, a few SLP studio things – pink, orange, ribbon, damask, and a “thank you” card from a wonderful bride.

And my beautiful camera collection is right behind it. I learned to shoot on some of those cameras. Some of those cameras belonged to family members. Some were gifts from new friends. All are very cherished.

Some very welcoming plants grace this place, as well. I am so proud of myself that I’ve managed to keep these alive. The bottom one has been around since my son was born – now that’s an accomplishment!

My calendar shows when I’m booked with appointments. And, of course, there’s the beautiful Audrey Hepburn there to brighten the room.

Above my desk is a wide variety of accessories to use in your shoot.

This is what is to the left of the door when you walk in. Lots of goodies!

My shooting area – I’ve gotta take advantage of that DELICIOUS natural light. And, to help you visualize the difference in sizes, I have a handy dandy display to show you.

If you don’t like the traditional look of white, there are a bunch of beautiful DropitModern backdrops to choose from. I just ADORE these!

Some fantastic Organic Bloom frames. Every home needs these – they’re fabulous! There’s even a nice fan to cool you off. (A heater is handy for winter, as well.)

A display table with some samples of the cards and albums I offer.

More totally vintage props at your disposal.

That side of the room. That wall was very dark, very ugly wood paneling before. Huge difference, huh?

The world’s most comfy chair.

Fantastically versatile ottomans to sit on, lay on, put your feet on. You know, whatever.

Right behind the chair is a vintage record player, complete with records, and a selection of reading materials. Dad doesn’t want to watch the little one’s entire photo shoot or fiance doesn’t really care about all of the details during your consultation? He can catch up with some T&C.

My packaging station where everyone’s goodies wait for them to pick up. It’s shaped like a beautiful French cart.

A beautiful wedding detail shot sits about my gorgeous antique farm table.

To complete the look are pieces of my late grandmother’s china.

Storage and work station.

My work area. This actually used to be my husband’s and my dining room table. We found it in the back of an antique shop before we were married and actually got locked in there. We had to run up front and bang on the door to catch the owner to let us out. But we got the table and I reupholstered the chairs. I loved it so much that I stole it to put in here. Now I never have to worry about parting with it.

All useful tools.

Business cards, PPA copyright information, and stationary for your use.

Rubber band balls in the studio colors because, well… why not?

Individually gift wrapped chocolates for my clients. I want to spoil y’all and show you how much I love you!

The view looking out.
So, what do you think? Can’t wait to come by and see it in person, right?
I can’t wait. Call me and let’s set up a date!
Thanks for stopping by!
